Yes! A valid WWCC (or equivalent) allows you to teach in that state. Want to expand your reach? You can also apply for WWCC in other states — and our Academic Administration team will gladly guide you through the process.

V-Tutor is an online Academic Learning Program platform designed to connect students with structured learning support tailored to their individual needs.
Our programs combine learning goals, targeted sessions, assessment, feedback and progress tracking to help students strengthen their skills, address learning gaps and build confidence.
V-Tutor offers different types of Academic Learning Programs designed for different learning needs and objectives.
Academic Learning Programs are structured learning programs designed to support students in specific areas of their academic development.
Depending on the program selected, an ALP may include elements such as diagnostic assessment, targeted learning sessions, Session Plans, micro-assessments, session feedback, progress tracking and end-of-program assessment.
Different programs are designed for different purposes, so parents can select an option that best aligns with their child's learning needs.
The Diagnostic Assessment is an interactive, wizard-based tool that gives parents an opportunity to provide an initial understanding of their child's learning profile, identify learning gaps and explore areas where their child may benefit from additional support.
The diagnostic assessment is currently complimentary and offered free of charge, so parents can take advantage of this opportunity to better understand their child's learning needs and explore suitable Academic Learning Programs to help address identified learning gaps.
The assessment combines qualitative insights provided by parents and quantitative assessment completed by the student, providing a broader view of the child's learning needs.
The Primary Diagnostic Assessment is the initial assessment completed by the student and parent.
V-Tutor offers a range of Academic Learning Programs designed around different student needs and learning objectives.
These may include Micro Learning Programs (MLP), Core Training Programs (CTP), Intensive Crash Program (ICP), Foundation Training Programs (FTP) and other programs introduced over time.
Each program has its own structure, objectives and inclusions. We recommend reviewing the individual program information to understand what is included and determine which option is most appropriate for your child.
The right program depends on your child's year level, subject, current learning needs and the type of support they require.

Where a program includes individual learning sessions, available sessions can be booked through the platform.
Before completing a session booking, parents can create a Session Plan by selecting the relevant subject, session topic and focus area.
You can describe specific areas your child is finding challenging - for example, topics they struggle with, concepts that seem confusing, or skills that need more practice.
This information gives the tutor useful context before the session and helps them prepare for the areas your child would like to focus on.
A Session Plan allows parents to communicate their child's specific learning requirements before a session.
You can state the relevant subject, topic and focus areas, and describe areas where your child may be experiencing difficulty or require additional support. Session Plans help narrow down the objective and expected outcome from the session.
The tutor can access the Session Plan before the session and use the information to prepare accordingly.
Note: Session Plan is available only for tutoring sessions booked directly with the tutor and not via Academic Learning Program. All sessions are pre-defined on learning programs.
The qualitative responses should be treated as supporting information, not as a score.
V-Tutor programs are designed to take account of the individual learning needs of each student.
Depending on the program, personalisation may be informed by diagnostic assessments, session feedback and micro-assessments.
For ad hoc tutoring sessions, personalisation may be informed by diagnostic assessments, parent-provided requirements, session plans, session feedback, micro-assessments and progress information.

Tutors undergo V-Tutor's verification and onboarding requirements, after they complete a strict two-stage screening and assessment via video interviews. The additional onboarding checks may include checks relating to identity, qualifications, experience and Working With Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent authorisation.
Relevant requirements may vary depending on the tutor's location and the students they are permitted to work with.
Yes. Because V-Tutor's learning programs are delivered online, your child's tutor may be located in another Australian state or territory. All tutors are residents of Australia who are authorised to work. V-Tutor does not engage or outsource academic tutoring to overseas locations.
Tutors are required to hold the appropriate WWCC or equivalent authorisation applicable to the students they are permitted to tutor. This allows eligible students to access tutors beyond their own state.
V-Tutor displays session availability and booking times according to your local time zone, making it easier to select the correct session time.
Yes. Parents can provide feedback by reviewing the individual session through the platform.
If you have specific feedback that you would like addressed with the tutor, you can also email support@v-tutor.com.au. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the feedback is communicated to the tutor.
Where a direct discussion between the parent and tutor is appropriate, V-Tutor may facilitate such a meeting. V-Tutor's role in such circumstances is limited to facilitating the conversation and, where appropriate, listening and noting the matters raised.
You can manage your upcoming sessions through your V-Tutor account. If your plans change, you can cancel your session in accordance with the applicable cancellation and refund policy.
If you would like to attend the session at a different time, you can book another available session time that works for you and your tutor. Sessions are booked individually, giving you the flexibility to choose a time that suits your schedule.
For cancellations, refunds are determined by how far in advance the session is cancelled. Please refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy for the applicable refund amount.
Yes. Where your Academic Learning Program includes individual learning sessions, sessions are currently booked as individual 1-hour sessions.
If your child requires multiple sessions, you can book additional sessions, including multiple sessions with the same tutor where availability permits.
The program structure and number of sessions available may vary depending on the Academic Learning Program selected.
Note: All Academic Learning Programs have validity period ranging from 30 – 90 days. Sessions can be booked in advance based on the availability of the assigned tutor.
